2019 F2F Meeting
National President's Corner
Bless you dearly beloved brethren and compliments of the season once again.Sincere appreciation for all the kingdom sacrifices and great feat of this year especially, the mobilization for the successful 2019 National Prayer Convocation, to God alone be all the glory. As we prepare to launch into the year 2020, our year of The Spirit, I want to encourage every member of NEC to brace-up for the manifestation of The Spirit in our midst.
Thanks also to everyone that was able to attend or send delegates to the leaders summit in Eket and the hosting of PICFI BoT for their inaugural meeting during the same period. The meeting minutes was forwarded to all participants as well as to all our NEC members immediately after the meeting. The National Secretary will resend the minutes of the meeting again to all the zonal & chapter leaders so we could sunset all the action items from the summit.
The PICFI National calendar was presented and discussed during the leaders’ summit in Eket. Also the PICFI National Training is scheduled to hold once in two months (Bi-monthly trainings) and we plan to ensure improved participation by all PICFI members with the setting-up of a team to work on improved attendance. We had the last training on Sunday, November 24, 2019 facilitated by bro. Ferdinand Nweke and the next training is scheduled to hold on the 3rd Sunday of January 2020 by 7pm for 2hours. Please let’s work with the training team led by bro. Felix to mobilize our members including our families to participate in the highly enriching once in two monthly trainings. All zones should incorporate the National programs into their calendars and forward to the National Secretariat on or before Friday, January 17, 2020.
Furthermore, a copy of marketplace ministry book (with mp3 audio) authored by bro. Ferdinand Nweke (one of the main speaker at the 2019 National Prayer Conference) was procured and distributed to all our zonal coordinators. Just as was done in 2019, the first quarter theme should be drawn from the teaching of the annual conference to help members internalize the message of the conference. The theme for the first quarter, 2020 is suggested as “The Marketplace Ministry” or “Christians in the Marketplace” and sub-topics drawn up for the teachings at our various fellowship meetings during the first quarter of 2020.
Once again thanks very much for all the great works in this year, 2019 (Jam.1:27) and looking forward to a more people-oriented and impactful ministry in the years ahead. May 2020 be our year of “The Spirit” indeed and may we not do anything nor go anywhere without Him in Jesus mighty name, amen.
Stay Blessed & Rejoice Always
